Christmas & Crafts in Raleigh

Well, I couldn't start this post (I know, 2 posts in one day - unbelievable!) without showing off Miss Finn first. I got to meet her for the first time and she is all sugar and sweetness. She's just starting to smile and cooing herself to sleep too. Mom made this adorable quilt and matching pillow for her out of the fabric we bought together when we went to Purl during our trip to New York. I know I've posted about my love for Purl before, and yes, it is the greatest. I was gifted a gift certificate for Christmas from Finn's Mom & Dad... much thank you's, it will be used shortly that's for sure, as I need some polka dot prints pronto.

I couldn't resist posting this pic either. Look at that smocking and matching bow! Too cute for Christmas.

Here's the reversible tote I made for Mom. Yes, of course, fabric from Purl. Kokko print I believe. She loved it. I miss it.

And here are the boys checking out their loot before Santa came the next day. Get a look at those matching pajamas, will ya!

Miss Ellie was ready for Christmas too. She got some softies from Santa, but gave them to Georgia. Well not really. She accidentally left one of them for her. Good sharing, girls.

The boys on Christmas morning... just seeing the filled stockings for the first time. Mine's hand-looped, and each have our name on it. The person who made mine oh-so-long-ago signed and dated it on a patch that's stitched into the satin on the inside.

Rub-a-dub-dub, 2 boys in a tub!

Your Auntie misses you! What fun we had.
