flibberty gibbets isall about: antiques, grayed greens, wood floors, sketchbooks, spring flowers, lavender soap, modern vintage furniture, thoughtful design, found objects, old photographs, film cameras, letter "a's", great grandmother's linens, cottage-style gardens, collections of green and white pottery, fresh herbs, and a spotted dog.
"If a day goes by without my doing something related to photography, it's as though I've neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up." - Richard Avedon
The house is all decked out for Fall and Halloween, thanks to bringing back some pumpkins from a quick weekend get away to my brother's cabin in Blue Ridge. I have lots of photos to share with you from that excursion (gourd hunting, apple tasting, waterfall hiking!)... but wanted to post the 'ol homestead snapshots first.
Mums and pansies have been planted, pumpkins thoughtfully arranged on the mantel and Indian corn hung on the door. Still waiting for the air to get crisp... then we'll be all set!
