Happiest. Day. Ever.
I just adore her little creations... but... they sell out in like 2 seconds and I have never been able to steal one away. So, I tried to make one based on her delicious hand-drawn pattern she posted. And, well, it's coming along! I'm a bit surprised that I was able to do it on the first try. Of course, she still needs a cute little face and perhaps an apron, but gosh, that didn't take long!
It's so funny though, Emily is just SO GOOD at putting fabrics together and getting all those little details and nuances to look precisely right. I definitely need more practice with adornment and contrasting the fabrics better. Yup, that's what makes hers, well, hers.
I'm very inspired now to make more and perhaps, make my own pattern for doll-making. Thanks bunches, Emily, you're a doll! (I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself!)

Have you seen it? They do stationery, too.
I do so love the way hers legs cross at the ankles. Please post her when she's finished. Can't wait to see what you do with her face!!

I stand by my always concrete position that you are one of the most creative people I have ever met.
