golden girlfriends.

Last weekend I got to hang out with my dear friend, Andi, and her gorgeous family. Andi's what I call a "gold" friend (you remember the song... make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold... right?). She's known me even before I wore a training bra and has since been there for me for, well, just about everything. Elementary school, Middle school, High school, College, first job, job loss, changing jobs, boyfriends, break ups, break downs, milestones, epiphanies, course corrections, life changes. A true friend.

Even though we live only about 45 minutes away from each other, we barely get to see one another. It's hard. So it was a real treat to hang with her family — Miss Ambry (who loves the camera) and Trey (who thinks having his picture taken is quite possibly "the worst thing you could to do me"), and of course, spend some time jumping on the trampoline with the kids next door.












I just wish I had more time with my crazy, fabulous, happy, amazing friend. I think we could have talked non-stop for 72 hours! (And then some.) There really aren't ever enough hours in the day for girlfriends, don't you think?
